I’m Dr. Aparna and I’m on a mission to help parents create peaceful family connections in their homes. I’m a doctor-turned-KonMari® Consultant, Montessori Educator, Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator, and a Certified Coach in the Conscious Parenting Method & mum to two wonderful kids.

I was always passionate about organising ever since I was little. I had the tidiest room at home throughout my childhood and all the way through medical school. However, becoming a mother brought along completely new challenges in keeping my home (and my mind!) organised and less overwhelming. I was frustrated but knew there was a simpler way to manage my expectations in a healthy way. I stumbled upon a Montessori homeschooling group a decade ago where a friend introduced me to Marie Kondo's books and I was hooked!

I was drawn to integrating the Montessori philosophies in my parenting journey and observed parallels with the KonMari® Method of tidying as I wanted more than ever to raise my children to be independent and self-reliant from a young age. In 2020, I got certified as a Montessori Assistant as well as a KonMari® Consultant trained by none other than Marie Kondo so that I could help other parents find joy in living in calm & clutter-free spaces at home without needing to resort to threats, bribes, punishments, or yelling to get them to put away their things. Over the next two years, I was inspired to get certified by Kim John Payne, Jane Nelsen, and Dr. Shefali Tsabary to educate myself and teach my clients how to enjoy their homes, families, and life with purpose, calm & peace to create beautiful memories with their children.

As a parent, I know firsthand the joys and challenges of raising children in today’s fast-paced life. While parenting is “believed” to be intuitive, it certainly doesn’t feel like it when there are daily challenges that lead to parents becoming triggered and letting out their frustrations onto their children and partners. My passion is to help parents raise the ‘child’ within themselves with confidence before they raise the child in front of them. I support my clients to find their authentic inner voice and to embrace the ‘good enoughness’ of parenting while showing up for themselves and their children in a conscious and compassionate way. I find great happiness in helping them by sharing my knowledge and personal experiences.

I discovered that external and ‘internal’ clutter need not come in the way of building strong & secure relationships with children and saw the benefits of working in collaboration 'with' them (rather than 'for' them) in curating their spaces to build trust, mutual respect, and positive connection.

With a passion for living with minimalism and a low-waste lifestyle with my family, I love sharing my lifestyle journey with you and showing you that it is possible to surround yourself with only the things that are of purpose, intention, and comfort, to live a life of abundance & contentment. I hope to facilitate magical home transformations through my experiences as a mom, and parenting coaching certifications to enable parents like you to enjoy positive, and peaceful relationships with your families and homes.

Aparna has transformed my home and family life! The mindset changes with regards to owning things and keeping them organised went a long way in helping me create my ideal lifestyle. I also find that this thought process gives me greater clarity of thought in my business. The best way to think of her service proposition is to liken it to interior designing, but for the closed or less visible, yet most used areas of the home.
